LAUNCHING AN INNOVATION HUB TO LEVERAGE COLLECTIVE CONTRIBUTIONS, ENABLING EMPLOYEES TO DRIVE INNOVATION AT A CUSTOMER AND ORGANISATIONAL LEVEL

Following a cultural deep-dive on the state of innovation at Wiley, we identified that what was holding employees back was the lack of tools to unlock their innovation potential.

Foreverbeta provided a solution by partnering with Crossknowledge, a platform and content provider, to create an Innovation Hub available to everyone at Wiley.

The programme consists of a combination of learning and concept-building via collaboration, that equips anyone in an organisation to think and act like a business innovator. The course material is delivered by Gary Hamel, one of the world’s most influential business thinkers.

PROBLEM

Breaking the rut

Wiley knew they needed to innovate to stay relevant in this day and age. The problem was they didn’t know how.

STRATEGY

We created a new way to develop innovation

Innovation is not just the next big idea. An idea that reduces a process from 5 to 4 steps is innovation. We just needed to demonstrate this in a simple and engaging way.

for the entire
Wiley business

An online based training programme led by world renowned business thinker Gary Hamel. Every employee globally in Wiley was invited to take part. Working with innovation experts we taught those who took part what innovation was and facilitated the development and refinement of hundreds of ideas.
